Possibly attempting to steal the thunder out from the next iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy S III is now widely available through a number of carriers in Canada, the United States and around the world. I got my hands on the North American version and now we have a video with my initial impressions.

Some of the features are carried over from previous devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note, but the Galaxy S III brings a lot of cool new stuff to the table too. It’s powered by Ice Cream Sandwich, boasts a 4.8-inch 720p display, and has cool features like Smart Stay and S Voice.

This is the North American version, so it has a Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB of RAM, whereas the international version as a quad-core Exynos processor with 1GB of RAM.
