Everyone has to get up before they want to at some point, most of us rather more regularly than we’d prefer. Which means as a rule, we all hate our alarm clocks for dragging us out of pleasant dreamland in a warm, comfortable bed to the harsh, cold reality of adult working life. However, if your alarm clock is a LEGO Star Wars figure, wouldn’t that make it just a little bit better every morning?

These are modeled after LEGO Star Wars minifigs, but stand eight inches tall. They are available as Yoda, Darth Vader, Anakin, or Storm Trooper. Each of them has movable arms, and all but Yoda have movable legs as well (Yoda, as we well know, has legs much too short for moving). If you push down on their heads, the clock in their bellies lights up to show you the time. The snooze function is operated the same way. All the controls are located on their backs, and the digital display on the front shows both the current time and what time your alarm will be waking you up.
