It’s been a while since something LEGO caught my eye, but this just struck me funny. It’s like a cross between Men in Black and every cheesy space movie from the 1950′s I’ve ever seen. And I want it.

This kit contains 211 total pieces, including LEGO bricks to build roadblocks, minifigs of a farmer with a pitchfork, an alien trooper, and and alien defense unit soldier. You also get an alien ship with an illuminated tractor beam. If you also own other LEGO sets (and who doesn’t?) you can create either a city or country setting for the aliens to invade. That’s really all there is to it, until you add your imagination. And with a good imagination coupled with a supply of LEGO, the sky is the limit. Pun intended, of course.
