The new HyperX Genesis kits will be sold in 4 and 8 RAM stick sets in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB of total capacity. This will range from 1333 MHz up to 2400 MHz . The low end 8GB 1333 MHz kit starts at only $65 with the most expensive kit on release being the 16GB 2133 MHz kit at $318.00. The 8GB 2400 MHz Genesis kit will be released some time after the launch of this lineup.

If you are looking to switch to a Sandy Bridge-E setup, then I suggest you remember to include RAM on your list of upgrades. While two sets of Dual channeled memory may work, quad-channeled kits like these HyperX Genesis kits are tested and guaranteed to work. When you do, Kingston is a good brand to start your shopping list with.

Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced a range of HyperX® Genesis memory in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB kits to support the new Intel® Sandy Bridge-E X79 quad-channel processors and X79 Express-based motherboards. Other HyperX Genesis memory for X79 systems include 1866MHz and 1600MHz frequencies in kits of four and eight, with capacities ranging from 8GB to 32GB. All of Kingston’s HyperX kits have achieved Intel XMP certification and are compatible with the latest X79 motherboards from vendors such as Asus, GIGABYTE, MSI and ASRock.

“Our latest HyperX offerings are specifically made to maximize performance in Intel’s new Core™ i7-3960X or 3930K processors with quad-channel memory support,” said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager, Kingston. “HyperX Genesis for the X79 platform will scale new overclocking heights for extreme gamers, benchmarkers, content creators and enthusiasts.”
