James Bond’s Technology Applied To Tires
Q Tires Inc. of Greenville, South Carolina, USA, is planning to release the new Celsius Tire with retractable studs by next winter. There won’t be any more need for chains or changing tires for the warmer season, as the studs will be fully retractable and only pushed out by an air bladder when necessary. There is no indication of where the name “Q” comes from, but it would make sense if the company had been named after the creative character of the James Bond movies.
