International Raccoon Appreciation Day

You cannot make this stuff up! According to my world holiday widget, today is, in fact, exactly that. So if you happen to see a raccoon out and about, slap him a high five or something, let him know you appreciate him. Heck…maybe you could leave some food out in the yard just in case a raccoon passing through the neighbourhood happens by and needs a snack! It’s also International Music Day, by the way, so perhaps you could pipe a little Vivaldi into the yard to make the raccoons’ dining experience complete. It’s just a thought….
