Chipzilla, AKA Intel is about to go to war with AMD again.  This time, they are poised to take down AMD’s new Quad Core Server Platform, Barcelona, with some outrageous price cuts coming this July…

Intel plans to slash prices 40-60% for quad-core server processors in order to achieve its shipment goal and to foil competition from AMD’s upcoming launch of its Barcelona series CPUs, according to industry sources.
