How to Get Almost $500 Off a Surface Pro 3

Hey! All you creative types out there! That’s the good news.

The bad news is that this deal applies only to the top end model, bundled with the Black Type Cover keyboard. This means you get a 12-inch Surface Pro 3 with 512GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, 4th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, dual 5MP cameras and Windows 8.1 Pro. The regular price on this bundle is $2,128.99 Canadian, so with the $489 discount, that brings your price down to $1,639.99. It’s still a little spendy, to be sure, but that’s a significant savings on quite the powerful machine.

The email we received was from a Canadian context, though I imagine a similar deal is being “exclusively offered” to our American counterparts too. Hit up the Microsoft online store to get yourself the Surface Pro 3.

Update: An anonymous reader has pointed out that this could mean the Surface Pro 4 is indeed in the works and could be released soon. Food for thought.
