I live less than 1/4 mile from a minor league baseball park, and apparently last night there was some kind of celebration there. Scared the heck out of me, let me tell you! I’m used to it after Saturday night games, because they do it every weekend. But Wednesday? Shoot…I thought at first it was the weirdest thunderstorm I’d ever experienced, then I thought maybe a plane was flying way too low and way too fast, then I was pretty sure bombs were going off. Then I thought to look over the trees toward the ball park, and it all became clear to me. It was an interesting couple of minutes until I figured it out, though.
