FANATEC Unveils Porsche Licensed 911 Carrera Racing Wheel

A couple weeks ago, FANATEC, partnered up with RennSports and presented to you a racing cockpit system that would set you back about $995 USD. This week, they’ve decided to give you a break by releasing a new racing wheel setup that’s based on their uber expensive, but highly realistic Porsche 911 Turbo Wheel. So where’s the break? Well, instead of charging you around $350 for this racing wheel setup, the new Porsche licenced 911 Carrera wheel will only set you back $129 USD.

Like the 911 Turbo Wheel, the Fanatec Porsche 911 Carrera Racing Wheel features an interchangeable gear stick (6 + 1 Speed) that can be mounted on either side of the wheel, realistic clutch pedal with declining resistance, a powerful Mabuchi RS 550 force feedback motor, an adjustable turning angle (up to 900°), a tuning function that allows gamers to change force feedback during gameplay, and an extra large wheel rim of 300mm in diameter crafted from high-quality TPE rubber. All this is topped off with an authentic Porsche badge on the hub of the wheel.

The Porsche 911 Carrera Racing Wheel is compatible with PS3 and PC titles, but unfortunately, lacks the ability to rock an Xbox 360. For more information on this and other products, check out FANATEC’s Website. More pictures after the jump…
