EeePC Users Get New Storage Options From SuperTalent asuseeepc1000

EeePC users get an instant storage upgrade today while keeping their SDHC card slots empty. SuperTalent announced today, the availability of new mini PCI-Express storage solutions. Offering up to 64GB’s of Solid State Storage, the drives boast read speeds of 40MB/s and write speeds of 15MB/s. They’ll be going into mass production in November and will hit the market at $53 for the 16GB one, $79 for the 32GB one, and $149 for the 64GB one. After release some crazy cheap (yet high performance) SSD drives last month, it would seem that SuperTalent has picked their battleground and is sticking it to the competition.
