Another entry from the "too much disposable income" file. Or maybe the "we don't want to actually make an effort to raise our children" file. Or maybe I'm just being unreasonable and this is a perfectly logical thing for a baby to have. Whatever. I find it silly, but hey...if you want to spend the money on it, then more power to you! I often don't understand things that parents find an absolute necessity.

As you can see, this is a teddy bear; it also has a built-in music player and speakers. You can create a personalized music selection for your child to hear for free via the product website, or download it directly to the bear. You can also do voice recordings, for in case you simply find it too hard at the end of a busy day to actually read your child a bedtime story. I suppose to be fair, this would also be handy if you have a work schedule which doesn't allow you to be there at bedtime. Since it can be updated at any time from the web, you could also change your recording with the help of whoever is caring for your child should you happen to be away for an extended period of time.

The bear stands approximately 9 1/2 inches tall, and comes with a USB cord for easy downloading. You can pick one up for just under $60.00 US.
