I’m virtually done with the rugs (just put the first coat of backing on them, after 12 hours of drying will do another), I’ve gotten four of the six necklace/earrings sets for my 14-year-old niece made, plus I’ve made four necklaces to sell, there are six dozen cookies in the freezer waiting for trays, and I’ve just picked up the ingredients for an ungodly huge pot of gumbo. There’s something about fall that turns me domestic, which is weird, but kind of nice.
