Breathing new life into a product line is never an easy thing to do. All too often, the lineup is just scrapped for something new to replace it. Corsair takes a different approach with this most recent update to the Corsair CX Series by adding modular cabling to the entire lineup.
Often considered a luxury option, modular cabling is often only found on expensive, high-end power supplies. This is always seemed backwards to me as modular cabling is designed to reduce clutter in your PC case and improve airflow due to few obstructions. This would be very helpful to budget PC builds where space and airflow is at a premium.
This should bring more attention to the CX Series 430, 500, 600, and 750 watt PSUs now with modular cabling support. The CX Series is also 80+ Bronze certified and comes with a 3 year warranty with a price range from $59.99 to $99.99 MSRP.
