You may remember the adventure I had a while ago with my power supply blowing up, right? Huge loud noise, unmistakable smell of burning electronics, puff of smoke…my desktop is completely dead and I’ve been on my laptop ever since with a completely useless tower. So CoolerMaster sends me a new one!
They shipped a brand new 550w Extreme Power Plus right to my door! I’ve had it for a week, but didn’t have time to do anything about it until today. I was giddy like a schoolgirl opening the box…there’s something about new hardware that just makes me happy, which I’m sure you get. I got it installed, hooked everything up…and apparently the last one took out my motherboard as well, because I have nothing. But I wanted to make sure CoolerMaster knows how much I appreciate them sending the PSU, so I thought I’d dedicate an entire posting to reviews of their products.
