Coin Combines All of Your Credit Cards into One Dylan Duarte November 14, 2013 While I’m fortunate (poor) enough to only have one payment card in my wallet, I’m well aware that many folks have a wide assortment of credit and debit cards lining their wallet and it can sometimes become a hassle. That’s where Coin comes in. Much to my dismay, Coin is not an actual coin. For the most part, it looks like any other card, but it’s actually an electronic device that holds the information for all of your cards, so instead of thumbing through your collection every time you need to make a purchase, you can just reach for your Coin card. You can check out the video below to see exactly how it works. Coin isn’t ready for purchase quite yet. The company is hoping to crowdsource $50k, with part of that money coming via preorders through the company website. They hope to begin shipping the product Summer 2014, at which time it cost $100 for a Coin card. If you pre-order right now, however, you can snag one for half of that.
