Splash is manufactured with aircraft-grade aluminum and is made to withstand low pressure water jets and dust. It’s been awarded an IP rating of 55, IP ratings being the international standard to measure the degree of protection against solids and liquids.
Like the other speakers coming out of CES, the Splash features a built-in microphone for speakerphone capabilities. It also features easy to access volume and track selection controls and two neodymium speaker drives for excellent sound.
The NUU Splash is Bluetooth 2.0 compatible, the battery can support 10 hours of play, and it can be charged with a micro USB plug. It’s currently available in a variety of colors for $99 through Amazon.com and goNUU.com.
