Happy Halloween!

Is it bad that I’m making my roommate deal with trick-or-treaters? I told her I simply HAD to get this news post done, so I couldn’t watch the door, I’ve got to be in my office. Hey, if you can’t be evil on Halloween, when can you? We usually only get about six, anyway…they’re scared of our yard because of all the trees. Here’s hoping there isn’t anything scary in the reviews tonight.

Thursday Thoughts

Is anyone else simply tired of answering the phone? I’ve taken to ignoring my house phone because 98% of the time it rings it’s a robo-call for some politician or another. I wish there was a list I could put myself on for “I already voted absentee, you can no longer influence my choices”. Wouldn’t that be neat? Not to mention the 847 pieces of snail mail I get daily from some politician or another. I’m sorry…I am interested in the national election, but I’ve already voted. And as of this morning I have my own election to worry about, as nominations for an organization I belong to were today and I have competition for the first time in six years. I’m done with other people’s politics, it’s now time to mind my own. Thank goodness for voicemail.

It is Tuesday, Right?

It would seem I’ve lost track of my days again. Comes from napping in the middle of the day for longer than I got to sleep the night before. THAT’S what somebody needs to find and review…a sleep generator! Something so I can appear to still be working while in reality my eyes are closed and I’m catching up on some seriously needed rest. Doesn’t appear to be one in there today, though, so I’ll just post what there is.
