They Finally Called

My insurance guy finally got to me today, only three business days after I was told he would. If I’m really, really lucky, I’ll have enough money left for a value menu lunch after they pay off what I still owe on my car. And I still have to find a “new” one. Looks like I’m seriously car shopping now!

Celebrity Deaths

What is the deal lately!?! I mean, I realize people pass away all the time, but we’re having a epidemic! Some expected, some not expected but also not unreasonable, and some just flat shocking. I’m not normally one to follow all the celebrity gossip (my own life is enough of a soap opera, I don’t need to borrow theirs), but lately it’s very hard not to. Hopefully we’re done with this for a while.

It’s Saturday!

That means you shouldn’t even be reading this, you should be doing something that doesn’t involve your computer at all! Read a book! Watch a baseball game! Talk to your friends or family! Or, you know, since I took time out of my day to post some reviews, you could sit here and read them before you go on with your life. It’s probably still early enough for some of you to still be sipping your first cup of coffee, so you might as well stick around until it’s gone. Especially if it’s raining as much where you are as it is where I am.

They Finally Got Me

After years and years of resisting video games of all kinds, I’ve finally gotten sucked into one. Nothing like you’re thinking…shoot, I was awful at PacMan (although I rocked at Pong!), I’m surely not going to start playing anything intriciate now! However, I am absolutely addicted to Bejeweled. No, that’s not right…Bejeweled 2 Deluxe. That’s the one. And yes, I am a girl…so what? I sat here last night playing for almost three hours, which is SO not like me! So now I understand the compulsion many of you face daily. Better late than never.

The Honeymoon is Over

I knew it had to happen some time, but I just checked the inbox and the spambots have found me. It’s only a couple right now, but we all know what happens once those floodgates crack open. Although it is good to know that some man who died somewhere in Africa four years ago has left me millions of dollars in his will so I can continue my many medical and humanitarian activities. Who knew the Helicopter Society and the Institute of Electronic & Electrical Engineers paid so well that he could leave me USD $6,100,000.00! I only regret that I don’t have the several hundred thousand dollars to send his lawyer so he can complete the paperwork.
