Online Clothes Sales Trumps Computer Sales

A study by Shop.org, an online sales tracking site has deduced that online clothing sales have overtaken online computer sales for the very first time. Well, considering some people are crazy enough to pay a few hundred dollars for a belt, I guess it was only a matter of time…

Shoppers spent $18.3 billion on clothes, accessories and shoes ordered over the Internet last year, according to the study conducted by Forrester Research Inc. Consumers bought about $17.2 billion worth of computer products online in 2006.

Playboy Sets Up Mansion in Second Life

Playboy Sets Up Mansion in Second Life

One fantasy that many men have is to be able to just once in their lives, be invited to (not break into) the Playboy Mansion to hang with Hugh and his many…umm…friends.  Well, sad to say, for many men, this will continue to be a fantasy, however, Playboy is set to give you a taste of life in the mansion by setting up shop inside Second Life.  Somehow, I just don’t think it’ll be the same…

The sensors provide real-time information not only on whether the house is safe from burglars, but whether children, parents or babysitters have entered the premises using their passcodes.

You can now google all this information, as the Internet firm is developing a special search engine for an easier access to US official documents. This is only currently available for Arizona, California, Utah and Virginia, but should soon be extended to the whole country.

Google is set to announce Monday that it is working with officials in four U.S. states to make sure all the public information they have online is easily accessible through the company’s search engine.
