It’s Monday Again

Maybe, just maybe, today will be the day the agent from the total loss department of my insurance company will call me and let me know how much they’re going to give me for my car. Maybe. A girl can dream, right? Have a great day!

Just Can’t Seem To Shake It

I am still sick, for pity’s sake! For someone who never gets sick, this is something of a record. Granted, it’s not as bad as it was, but I still haven’t left the house longer than to run out for more drugs and one short trip to the library since I was reduced to reading old copies of magazines lying around the house. This is getting ridiculous. Yeah, I know…go to the doctor. But all he’ll tell me is I have a cold. I am aware of that. Bah.

Are We Done Yet?

It is Friday afternoon, right? Well, I realize some of you are in different time zones, but here it is. I swear this has been one of the longest weeks ever, and I won’t be done until tomorrow. Could have something to do with working a bunch of hours early in the morning and staying up late to watch hockey. Anyway, I’m on a short break from work so I’ll get to the stuff you actually come here for.

We Lost Again

There’s one more game, but after last night we’re 0-3 in the Calder Cup playoffs and it’s not looking too good. I don’t get to see my NHL game tonight because myself and my other half are going to a concert, but I’ll cope. On to the inbox!

Counting the Days

Just two more to go, and then I am out of here for the weekend. I swear if time were crawling by any slower it would be standing still. At least tonight I can distract myself with a hockey game (game four in the first round of the playoffs, and we lost Monday night so there’ll be a game five). I think if it would stop raining and maybe warm up again it would be easier to deal with, but I’m getting some serious cabin fever.
