Wednesday Already? How Did That Happen?

My most sinere apologies for not being here so far this week…I got caught up in work and politics and a number of other things. Which means today’s posts are going to be extra long and will contain multiple articles from the same source, since not everybody disappeared for three days as I did. On to the reviews!

It is Tuesday, Right?

It would seem I’ve lost track of my days again. Comes from napping in the middle of the day for longer than I got to sleep the night before. THAT’S what somebody needs to find and review…a sleep generator! Something so I can appear to still be working while in reality my eyes are closed and I’m catching up on some seriously needed rest. Doesn’t appear to be one in there today, though, so I’ll just post what there is.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Approves of Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime

Some people live and die by their iPhones. Even if you’re not rocking the Jesus Phone, there’s a good chance that you own one of its little brothers. You know, the iPod. That little music player is a way of life, not only for portable aural enjoyment, but also for in the car, in your den, and even in your bedroom.

While it certainly won’t replace a proper speaker system in your living room, the Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime is one sweet iPod alarm clock. It’s got a couple of speakers so that you can enjoy Barry White and Def Leppard from the comfort of your bed (whatever gets you in the mood), but it also functions as an alarm clock and an iPod/iPhone charger.

So, how does Obi-Wan Kenobi fit into the equation? When the alarm goes off, playing your favorite iPod-sourced tunes, you can simply wave your hand over the top of the Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime for the snooze function. Yup, just perform some Jedi mind tricks on this thing rather than trying to smash around looking for a physical snooze button. Unlike some other iPod alarm clocks, this dock has its own display as well.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime for iPod and iPhone retails for $99.99.

Cases and Heatsinks and Printers, Oh My!

Don’t ask me what THAT was all about…I’m in a mood, and for some reason I cannot get the Wizard of Oz out of my head. Might be due to the people I was stuck on the road with this afternoon…most of them decidedly did NOT have a brain, and I’m suspicious about their hearts as well. Anyway, enough of my babbling.

Saturday, Part Deux

As promised, here’s another one for you before I run out the door for work again. It’s funny…I complain all summer because work is slow, and then when fall hits and I can hardly buy a day off I complain because I don’t have time for myself. I guess that’s human nature, though. Besides, it’s not all bad…going to work today and tomorrow means seeing our AHL team’s home opener weekend. Hockey’s back, I’m good!
