Kingston Wants to Get You Into Blizzcon!

Kingston Wants to Get You Into Blizzcon! blizzcon kingston

Kingston Technology, maker of memory, SSD Hard Drives and USB Flash Drives is hoping to send one of you lucky World of Warcraft fans to the utlimate destination for all things Blizzard. Blizzcon, which runs August 21-22 this year in Anaheim, California is the place to be for the latest Starcraft, Diablo and of course, WoW developments. Heck, you might even bump into one of your guild mates in real life!

Kingston is giving away 10 tickets worth over $125 real dollars each. All you have to do is head to the contest page to enter. There is no purchase necessary, but the contest is open to only US residents only. Bummer.

Wistful Wednesday

All day I’ve been in one of those moods where everything and everyone I want to see is nowhere near me, and I can’t do anything about it. I miss my other half, I miss my best friend, I miss being able to drive whenever I want, I miss a lot of stuff. Maybe it’s because after a week of absolutely gorgeous, hot and humid weather it turned cold and rainy to the point where we’re considering turning the furnace on again. That’s not right for the first day in July in this hemisphere.

Happy Canada Day!

To my neighbours to the north, hope you have a fabulous day today! If you celebrate like we do, don’t eat too much, don’t set anything on fire, spend time with family and/or friends, and in general enjoy yourself while you celebrate your country.

They Finally Called

My insurance guy finally got to me today, only three business days after I was told he would. If I’m really, really lucky, I’ll have enough money left for a value menu lunch after they pay off what I still owe on my car. And I still have to find a “new” one. Looks like I’m seriously car shopping now!
