This is Rebecca Black, the lead singer on a Song called "Friday" which has earned Internet fame for being one of the worst high production songs ever. Being more Internet savvy than most, I knew watching this "music" video could potentially earn Ms. Black money for being a failure. I guess I was right as Ms. Black's video has earned approximately $40,000 for her.

Valve Will Handle All Portal 2 Ads

After consulting with several ad agencies for Portal 2's upcoming campaign, Valve has decide ad agencies are completely useless. Valve reports all they received from these so-called creative think tanks were copied material from other current ads and cliche material done thousands of times before. Doug Lombardi, head of marketing for Valve, decided the best people to advertise a game was the people making it.

Valve Teases About Steam “Big Picture Mode”

Valve's announcement is light on details, since the firm is setting the stage for a full reveal at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco later this week. However, it does gloss over a few key facts: "big picture" mode will provide "controller support and navigation designed for television interaction," and it will allow players to "enjoy Steam and their library of Steam games on more screens throughout the house."
