Corsair® Launches Air Series A70 and A50 High Performance CPU Coolers A70 Hero 496x499

CORSAIR has decided to diversify their product offerings by going into Air Cooling. As some of you may be aware, CORSAIR put out the very popular H50 Liquid Cooling system just a while ago. Due to its price point and decent performance, it flew off the shelves. Hopefully these new cooling solutions will live up to their early successes rather than just adding noise to the already crowded CPU Cooler market.

Here’s a clip from the full press release with the whole enchilada plus additional pictures after the jump.

NZXT Gives Us the Power of Touch with the Sentry 2

NZXT Gives Us the Power of Touch with the Sentry 2 423 500x340

The folks at NZXT have been hard at work trying to come up with a way to top their original Sentry drive bay mounted system monitor. Although the original Sentry was an extremely impressive sight to behold, the fact that it took up two bays made it difficult to install in anything but a full tower case.

Like the original Sentry, the Sentry 2 gives us similar features like our temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit and allows users to control fans (up to 5) with the option for manually tuning individual fan speeds. You can also just set it on auto and let it do its thing by setting a specific target temperature. An alarm will sound if the temperature exceeds the target and even stores saved settings even after it is turned off.

Wistful Wednesday

All day I’ve been in one of those moods where everything and everyone I want to see is nowhere near me, and I can’t do anything about it. I miss my other half, I miss my best friend, I miss being able to drive whenever I want, I miss a lot of stuff. Maybe it’s because after a week of absolutely gorgeous, hot and humid weather it turned cold and rainy to the point where we’re considering turning the furnace on again. That’s not right for the first day in July in this hemisphere.
