Apple has decided to stir the shark tank again. This time, their legal department has decided to go after bloggers that reported about a mod for the Windows Mobile Platform that skins it to look like the new iPhone interface as in the picture above.

Today Apple is engaging in similar tactics against a number of bloggers who simply reported on the fact that someone created a skin for Windows Mobile phones that looks exactly like the new iPhone user interface. See the images above – the Windows version is on the left, Apple’s version is on the right.

Apparently the same mod has also surfaced for PALM users. It’ll be interesting to see if PALM bloggers will feel the same treatment from Apple. I think Apple should worry about their own legal problems for using the iPhone name without CISCO’s permission.
