I mentioned about a week ago that the BlackBerry Curve was my very first smartphone and that BlackBerry will always have a special place in my heart. I may not be dumping Android in favor of BlackBerry 10, but it warms my heart to see that the BlackBerry Z10 is selling in record numbers in Canada, making it the most successful BlackBerry debut in history.

According to Canadian carrier Rogers, the BlackBerry Z10 is even sold out in some stores, with more models having to be shipped in. Not only was it the most successful launch in BlackBerry history, but according to CEO Thorsten Heins, it was more 50 percent better than any Canadian BlackBerry launch ever.

Things are definitely looking up for the newly-renamed BlackBerry Limited and I'm excited to see how the Q10 does when it starts shipping in April. Does the world still pine for physical keyboards?
