It took me approximately 8.4 seconds to figure out what was wrong with my desktop last night. Apparently, you not only need to attach the ribbon cable to the back of the HDD, but it needs to be hooked to the motherboard as well! Who knew!? Sheesh…I must have been more tired than I thought. I sort of had it near where it needed to be, but as this was neither horseshoes nor hand grenades close wasn’t good enough. At least now I’m back on my desktop and all is well on the home front! The best part is I have almost enough parts left over to build my mother a new machine for Mother’s Day!
