Apple Says Free Phones Suck!
Apple had some strong words for all the other phone makers out there calling everyone elses phones worthless. How much more arrogant can you get? Their phone already has a 50% markup and they are charging full price, and to add to that, the iPhone is not even that great!
“A lot of people pay zero for the cell phone. Guess why? That’s what it’s worth,” Apple Chief Operating Officer Timothy Cook said yesterday at a conference in Las Vegas. Some wireless providers win customers by offering phones that lack the latest features free with service contracts.
