AMD Gives Patriots G Series DDR3 Memory Mad Props by Blessing Their Shizzle gseries

Earlier this year, Patriot Memory announced their DDR3 Gamer’s (G) Series Memory to the masses. I’m sure you are making gang signs at the screen as you read this. Their goal was to present gaming gangstas an affordable alternative for performance gaming. The modules have recently been approved by AMD as 100% compatible with their latest and greatest platform code named “Dragon” which uses a combination of ATI 4xxx series GPU, AM3 CPU and DDR3 memory.

“We are thrilled to launch our new AMD Black Edition Ready G Series for use with AMD OverDrive(TM) software, ” says Mai Kosla, Patriot’s VP of Sales. “Receiving the AMD Black Edition Ready approval is a testimony for Patriot’s high standards in engineering and quality manufacturing.”

The modules are built with pre-sorted low-voltage chips and offer pre-programmed enchanced latencies. The G series offers enhanced latency setting straight from the box and are available in speeds from PC3-10666 to PC3-12800. They will come package in Dual Channel Kits and the packaging will be highly blingified with G-Series graphics…yo.

The memory is also “AMD Black Edition Ready” meaning that they’re ready for use with AMD OverDrive software version 3.0.2 and newer. Some call this “Unleashing the Dragon” but depending on which Asian country you are in, that may mean something totally inappropriate for virgin ears.
