Sure, this is being billed as a more secure dock lock than one that simply uses a key, but I see it as being a bonus for those among us who are incapable of keeping track of our keys. I mean, if the lock is operated by a keypad, then you don’t have to worry about it. Plus, you don’t have to worry about who found your keys and if they have untoward intentions.

There are five types of Samsung EZON Digital Door Locks: SHS-7020, SHS-7120 , SHS-7100, SHS-3420 and SHS-2320. They have been designed specifically with US traditional mechanical systems in mind, which means they will not require any extra tools or modifications to replace your existing door lock. Each one combines electrical and mechanical elements in a sophisticated design. The touchscreen requires a password, and the keypad is only visible when the control button is pressed and the backlight turns on. They also feature an actual key lock for those of you who don’t quite trust completely digital locks just yet.
