Not Just the Week, But the Month as Well

Not only did I lose most of this week, I apparently lost most of this month. I didn’t think I’d been that busy, but maybe so… Anyway, I’m heading out the door in a few minutes for a bonus second day of work this week, so I’m going to get right to it.

Where Did the Week Go?

I just realized it’s Thursday already…what happened? I can honestly say I’ve accomplished absolutely nothing except seven hours of work all week! That’s just not right. Usually I at least have some kind of clue what I might have done with myself, but today I’ve got nothing.

Wasted Wednesday

There were so many thing I intended to do today, and every single one of them completely fell by the wayside. I got hooked on a really good book and didn’t end up even eating lunch, much less doing anything else. Now I’m starving, but I thought I’d pop in here and get the evening post done before I dive into the food trough (there’s a chicken in the oven roasting with a whole bunch of vegetables in a butter-white wine sauce), because I’m pretty sure after I eat I’m going to have no choice but to sleep for several hours.

Waiting For Hockey

I know, there are still teams finishing up the first round, but I want it to be our turn again! Both my AHL and NHL teams are waiting for the second round to start. Which means if I stop at the bar I’m forced to watch basketball. *Yawn* I suppose it could be worse…our season could be over already. I just get antsy not knowing when we’re finally playing again.

Intermittent Cable Connection

I am so frustrated I could scream. I won’t go into what company it is because that’s not right, but I have had intermittent connection issues for YEARS. The last few days it is constantly happening, so I don’t know from one minute to the next if I’m going to be able to do anything or not. I called on Monday for an appointment, and they didn’t have anything available until Thursday afternoon. Not that it’ll do any good…I’m on a first-name basis with the techs around here now anyway since they’re out here so much. They can’t fix it if it doesn’t happen while they’re here, unfortunately. I’ve got my fingers crossed in hopes that’ll happen this time finally.
