Suddenly Saturday

Apparently I caught up on some much-needed sleep, because the last thing I knew it was Friday night and I was curled up on the couch watching a movie. Now here it is Saturday morning already and I’ve got to run out the door for work. Don’t you hate when a new day sneaks up on you?

It’s Friday!

And y’all are outta here, right? I’m heading to work in a few minutes, but that’s OK…the show isn’t as bad as I’d feared and it’s short, so I’ll have plenty of time to indulge myself in a little weekend celebration. Speaking of celebration, I got an email telling me my class reunion is this summer (I won’t tell you what year). Apparently we’re having it at a bar downtown with a cash bar and food stations. What the heck are food stations? Does this mean I need to invest in some of those things they sell on late-night TV that attach to your wine glass so you can hold your plate and still eat? Must investigate further…

Frazzled on Friday

It’s payday again, which means no end of running around doing errands and paying bills and in general feeling as if nothing is going to get done on time. Luckily, I don’t have to work during the day today, so I have at least a small chance of getting things done. Before I plunge into the fray, let’s get this morning’s review selection out of the way, shall we?

Thirteen More

There’s actually logic involved here…it’s the 26th, and two posts of thirteen items each add up to 26 total. OK, so it’s probably only logical in my world, but then we’ve all pretty much agreed that by reading the intros you’re consenting to enter my world briefly. It’s an interesting place to visit, but aren’t you glad you don’t live here permanently?

Thirteen Things for Thursday

Usually I post eleven items, purely because it’s a stupid number and I’m like that. Today I’m choosing thirteen, purely because I can. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m simply not like other people. But it’s our own little personal insanities that make the world go ’round, right?
